Making Bamboo coal in Oita Japan

This is my first try to make bamboo coal in Oita. Lately I joined NPO Blue Ocean. The organization does environment protection in Takenaka Oita. They have three oven for bamboo. Of course the oven was made by hand. I have never seen the oven before. It is rear in Oita. Today, we started to use those three oven for making bamboo coal. One of oven is for smoked bamboo. I put some bamboo in it. I will show you how it change later.
