Have you ever seen smoked bamboo? I guess next time I will show you the smoked bamboo. Ok I will write down a few steps for smoke.
  • Cut any bamboo sizes that you want to get.
  • Leave it anywhere that it has cell for a few month.
  • Get rid of bamboo oil by heating
  • Wipe the oil by any towel
  • Then you can put the bamboo into the oven.

Once any bamboo get smoked, it gets color and keep last forever. So, it is very useful for our lives.

Lately I joined NPO Blue Ocean. The organization does environment protection in Takenaka Oita. They have three oven for bamboo. Of course the oven was made by hand. I have never seen the oven before. It is rear in Oita. Today, we started to use those three oven for making bamboo coal. One of oven is for smoked bamboo. I put some bamboo in it. I will show you how it change later.
