It is simple. Good rhythm of human life with nature. It should have a good natural cycle without no force. It should not be so difficult. Because the cycle was there before. So, we should not think it so hard and deep. Think it simple. So, what can we do for our future lives?

Create your own village

“By my self? Alone?” Oh, no, no. “We should create” Not alone. Do it together. The point is what you want to do. Fisrt of all you have to see and feel what you can do. I want you to face your environment. And I want you to face your living place. Let’s say about my town Oita. I want to create some opportunity who can do something that you want to do in oita.

Japanese people needs your point of views.

I don’t want some difficult stuff. I want a little thing. Simple things. If you look at Japanese culture,

• Is this cool or not.
• Is it useful or not.
• Is it fun or not.

Culuture differences and your point of view will give us some kind of incentives and hints for our next steps. On the other hand, we might give you some hits through what we try for.

So, here is my hope

If you want to feel something new about yourself, face to Nature. Old Japanese people have the sense still. Come and enjoy the time. I want you to feel how old Japanese people create this JAPAN. You will find out Your Rhythm, also.

We should know who we are. After coffee we have these toys. This place is in Oita city. It is called Takenaka. It is close to Oita University.

Some people say “I can not speak Japanese.” It is ok. Most of people can not speak English. oh, I can help a little. My English is not good but it works if you help me.

While you are in Japan, feel some Japanese style.

As we are a part of nature, what we can do for our future. It does not matter how big or small. It will matter how you feel and think. Most of my friends are over 65 years old but they know how to share with nature. My view is coming from a sense of crisis.

Lately I have started a crazy stuff. Create the village. I know it is going to be a long story. But someday when you visit to oita again, the place wants to be your second home.

Feel what you think or what you want

In other word, Nonverbal comunication style. I guess this is the one of key for growing up such big country. It is based on human moral. Last week I met one of unique communication style at Aoiuminokai(Blue Oceans) in Oita city.

There is something people want to do.

This picture tells one meaning to someone. Can you guess what it means?

I want to rip out this wood skin.

The reason for ripping skin out is avoiding from bugs. We want to use the wood post long time. If we don’t rip out the skin, it will go bad fast. So, Who will do that? No one knows. When you look at the wood, you can see the signal. Can you see it? The man knows or feel someone will do it later. He does not say it in word. Just leave it. yeah, yeah, it will take time maybe. But it is ok for him.

Think Yourself

This is the key. Telling is easy to go. But once he or she stops, what happens next?

Be Strong!!

That is what I learn from them.

We live with nature.

We are also nature. We should be careful to use the word. It is hard to share the same meaning.

Aoiumi(Blue Oceans) lives with nature. Their skill is close to nature. It is like our ancestor did before. Their skills are here.

Coal Stove for Bamboo coal and Charcoal

This is Coal stove. Aoiumi(Blue Oceans)has two types of stove for coal. It takes about one week to get the coal out from the stove. It is all depend on what kind of coal we want. If we want a good one, it takes much time to it.

Coal Stove will heal the world

Most of house had their own Coal stove for energy such as heating house, food and bath. So for all Japanese should know how to use the coal. But this story is long long time ago. Actually not so far. Age over 60 years old knows how to use the coal. But age 50th, 40th and 30th would not know at all.

Fire heal human emotion. I don’t know why. It does it. When it’s cold, people get close to the fire place. It is natual action. No one force to do it. It is just the way it is.

Satoyama world in Oita. Aoiumi(Blue Ocean) is making network for Satoyama Action. It is not forced. When people need something, they will act. If people don’t want it, they won’t come. Like a nature, who knows what happens. But we are going for the satoyama world. Let’s see what happens next.

This place is in Takenaka Oita city near by Ohno-river. Whenever I have time, I go there and be free. “Bamboo coffee” is taste unique. Smell and a little sweet after you taste it. You should try!! But you have to make the bamboo cup at first!! No one help you. hehe Someone will guide you how to use saw.

What is the Japanese Way?

It is like a wind.

There is no use to say, “Do you need a help?” When they are working such as cutting bamboo or building wood house, as long as they say “I need a help” no one support. Well, I should say it feels me they don’t need the help. They know what they are doing. If they need it, they will ask.

It is hard to understand, isn’t it? Me neither. It is hard to explaining it.

In other word, “Don’t ask! Feel it what happens in there.”

Find and Feel something you can

When you face to any nature, you feel something that you want. That is the nature power. Think what they want. I mean nature want. It leads you to think what you want.

• Why nature feels you free?
• Why when people get old, they like to feel nature?
• Why did Japanese become the second economy countries in the world?

well, these questions help me to feel my own culture. My answer is the nature at this time.

Whenever I come to this place, they are doing something new. It is hard to understand. Can you feel what they are doing the above picutres? You will see when you come to this place.

Well, that is right. There is no oceans. This place is in moutain. Memebers like the ocean. Actually, they like fishing. That’s the reason.

This place is new to me, too. Most of members are over 60 years old. They teaches me a lot of things. Their activities are these.

Through such experiences teach me a lot of things. Mainly they are taking care of nature. When people come around, they will have a small party with fireplace. They always talk about the future. Everything is ok. Whatever they feel it, they will talk like wind.

Be Multi-Culture pod

There is no rule. Human moral is needed. Everyone knows. Just relax yo!! No one bite you. Everyone feel free like nature do. So, if you are interested in, come and join.

I want this place to be like nature. Whenever you want to come, just come. Do whatever you want to do. Feel yourself. And try to exchange your culture to the people. Language problem? Who cares!! Members don’t speak English at all. But they will understand. heheh

They don’t use any machine at all. All by hands. There is no electorical power in this place. Only Gasoline. If you have a chance, come, come. I will show you around this place. From Park Place Oita, it takes about 10 or 15 min by car.

Thanks to Nature and Bushidou

Lately I have been seen some of craftsmen in Oita such as Making soil and bamboo coal. Their heart is like Bushidou. Maybe I should clear the meaning of Bushidou.

義：It is like a human moral.

It is very simple. As human moral, they follow their heart.

• People don’t lie.
• People respect people.
• People are part of Nature.

So, those craftsmen simply just follow as nature alive. They are really stubborn. hehe But they are kind person. Their faces and eye will tell everything.

Love People and Nature

When they cultivate any products, they follow how nature survive. They don’t against the nature want. For example, One of soil craftsman makes a certain leaf soil. It takes five years to make. Most of people images for “Leaf soil” is leaf and soil such as muck with leaf. However, five years leaf soil does not have any leaf at all. It is just a soil itself. No Leaf. His know-how is simple deal with nature with patient. That’s all. He has been taught this skill to others but no one make it. Because they can not wait it that long. It is because of “Desire”.

Love is Truth. They don’t focus on any surface of people. They see the beyond it. For human, they seek one thing. “How do you survive in this world. It is a power of living.” They don’t teach. Let them feel and learn.

After 2011.3.11, Life style is changing slowly in Japan. If you don’t have anything at all. What can we do? No money, No food and No place to live. We are facing to how people deal with nature.

They have already felt something is changing in the ocean. It is not coming from the ocean. It is coming from us. Human.
